About pt² FITNESS

pt² FITNESS uses the discipline of non-contact boxing to build confidence, resilience, and belonging for young refugees and migrants in London. Founded on lived experience, we don’t just train boxers, we build champions for life.

Our Story

 Our founder, Percy Tussamba, arrived in the UK as an asylum seeker and felt the profound isolation of being unheard. He found his voice and power in a boxing gym, not through fighting, but through discipline and community.

pt² FITNESS was created to share that power. We exist to give other young people with similar journeys a space to break their silence, find their strength, and a sense of belonging. 

Our Approach

 

Our approach is built on three principles: Safety, Discipline and Belonging. 


  • Our sessions are strictly non-contact and led by a coach with lived experience, creating a safe and inclusive space where young people feel seen, supported, and valued.


  • We utilise the core discipline of boxing to develop the physical confidence and mental resilience necessary to navigate life's challenges.


  • We are a team. Every session fosters mutual support, creating a community where every member knows they belong.
